Relying on diffuse reflectance laser echo of the target to search and track, semi-activelaser seeker is the key component to do precision strikes. In modern warfare, semi-activelaser-guided weapons show an extraordinary advantage. Miniaturization of semi-active laserseekers is an important development direction of military field, however, the continuousdevelopment of science and technology makes it possible. Miniaturized laser semi-activeseeker has appeared in America, similarly, China has also done studies related in this field.This paper studied a micro seeker based on semi-active laser guidance system, analyzed itsused battlefield environment, and designed of miniaturized optical receiving system, targetdetection system, signal amplification system.Firstly, according to the guidance system used in battlefield environment, the paperstudied the effects of environment on laser beam propagation in the atmosphere. the papercompared the average weather and bad weather for different laser effects, then statistical lawor mathematical model are given under typical meteorological conditions.Secondly, the miniaturization of optical receiving system scheme was made with thegeneral requirements of the guidance system. Structural parameters of an optical system wascalculated, optimized by ZEMAX, and its performance was evaluated.At last, target detection systems was designed, including detection algorithm, laserseeker and signal amplifying circuit. This article analyzed system errors and noise based onfour-quadrant detector. with calculation, selection and design of PCB, Article demonstratesthe feasibility of miniaturization and low power consumption.With the rules, methods, and conclusions obtained by this paper, theories and reference isoffered for the future design and research of semi-active laser seeker’s miniaturization...
