In recent years, hybrid cars have been widely supported and studied as the transition from traditional fossil fuel vehicles to pure electric vehicles by the community With further research, there are still rooms to improve in the hybrid car motors and drive systems. In this paper, permanent magnet synchronous motors are studied, conducted the space vector control programs deeply, which is specific applied in hybrid vehicles.In this paper, make a brief introduction of development situation of hybrid cars in domestic and abroad firstly, get a clear role and performance requirements of the motors. Make a comparison among the permanent magnet synchronous motors and several other motorsm which are commonly used, the permanent magnet synchronous motors are obviously energy-saving, high in power density, easy to control, these features determine the advantages of the application of permanent magnet synchronous motor in hybrid vehicles. Then the connection of several hybrid systems are analyzed and compared, by comparingof cost, reliability and sophistication of the control system, ultimately selected the parallel as the hybrid system structure in this article. Then a space vector control system based on permanent magnet synchronous motor current control strategy is established. Then the hardware and software of hybrid vehicles’control system are designed based on DSP. The hardware part:the driving circuit of hybrid vehicles is designs, selecting suitable sensors to measure the position and speed of the rotor in motor; the data acquisition unit is designed importantly, which using DSP as the core, including stator’s current sampling and processing circuits, rotor’s speed sampling circuit, rotor’s position sampling circuit, signal conditioning circuits and AD converter circuit; power systems are designed for DSP and other system modules, the electromagnetic interference signals are took into account, which may arise during operating and some of anti-jamming measures. The software part, the main program is designed, system initialization is designed, AD conversion subroutine、SCI subroutine and CAN subroutine are designed respectively; SCI subroutine and CAN subroutine are debugged. Finally, modules of vector control system are built in the MATLAB\simulink, and simulate the overall system, analysis the experimental waveforms. It can prove the vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor is feasible.In this paper, we study the space vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor, the experimental results show that the system is little overshoot, fast response speed, well dynamic and static performances and strong anti-jamming performance. So that the system can be used to control the permanent magnet synchronous motor of hybrid vehicles.
