Along with the progress of transportation industry, the highway tunnel projectconstruction and research work is improved very much. During the construction oftunnel, facing complex geological conditions is inevitably to us, such as water-richcrushed rock, which put forward more demands and challenges to the safety of tunnelconstruction. Using optimization of monitoring programme to ensuring the safety andstability of tunnel, and reasonable and effective drainage measures to reducinginvestment and risk is the key problem of design and construction of tunnelengineering.Using the systems of risk assessment and the establishment and optimization offield monitoring measurement, the paper researches safety technology of the highwaytunnel construction under the geological conditions of rich water and brokensurrounding rock based on an actual tunnel projection. The main contents are asfollows.(1) Based on the domestic and foreign research data about water-rich crushed rocktunnel, the paper research the important of technology scheme about risk assessment,explosive, waterproof and drainage systematically.(2) Based on the results of risk assessment, the paper attempt to establish riskindex system, a list of risk factors, risk classification and risk assessment for tunnel.(3) Based on the monitoring system, the paper select seven sections to test the dataof entrance surrounding displacement, rate of convergence and vault settlement rate.Then this paper use the regression analysis and mathematical statistics method to raisethe construction safety control measures for the safety of tunnel surrounding rockbreakage.(4) Based on the importance of blasting construction for the safety of the tunnel,the paper monitors the tunnel of Chen Jiashan with TOPBOX record and analysissystem. According to the results of monitoring tunnel blasting, the paper attempts tooptimize those blasting parameters, ways of blasting for the safety of shake and theeffective control of excavation.(5) Based on the tunnel, the paper attempts to research those new technology aboutself-waterproof, additional waterproof, grouting waterproof and materials of waterproof, and to optimize the whole tunnel section waterproof design andconstruction work.
