In recent decades, stability and protection of soaking subgrade has been animportant issue for highway-construction projects which built along the rivers andreservoirs, According to the statistics, soaking subgrade is unstable so that affectingtraffic safety, and even resulting in loss of life and property. Therefore, there has agreat significance for the study of soaking subgrade stability analysis and protectivemeasures. Based on the reconstruction project of Fulin reservoir, this article wouldanalyze the stability of soaking subgrade, design a protection program and carry it out,details as follow:1、In view of the requirement for accuracy in soaking subgrade of Fulinreservoir, this article would introduce stability analysis method of soaking subgrade,using arc article points method before flood embankment in the design of water level,the warning level, the stability of low water level in the design of water level, thewarning level when the safety factor cannot satisfy the security requirements, andbefore using ANSYS to simulate the flood embankment in the design water level, theseepage field when the warning level, the seepage field distribution scope gets bigger(weak) stability, therefore, must be protective treatment.2、Through classification of soaking roadbed protection technology commonlyused at domestic and abroad, and comparing of its feasibility in engineeringapplication. Combined with practice of the engineering, propose the comprehensivetreatment plan of precast concrete blocks, turf, dry stone protection of Fulin reservoirsoaking subgrade. Using circular slice method to calculate the stability factor of safetyafter flooding reservoir embankment protection Fulin, verify that the treatment planmeets the security requirements of the engineering.3、As to rapid drawdown of reservoir harm to stability, make use of ANSYS tosimulate Fulin before and after protecting, observe the changes in the distribution ofseepage field in a different rate of decline down to the same height and the samespeed to different heights. Concluded that under the same conditions, the seepagefield inside soaking subgrade after taking protective measures is significantly smallerthan before. It verifies that it is reasonable to make protective measures. And thefaster the rate of decline, the greater the impact on flooding roadbed stability. Underthe same conditions, the lower the water level, soaking subgrade stability weaker. 4、To make some overview on the construction technology of soaking subgradeprotection of Fulin, including the upstream slope, downstream slope, crest, etc.Meanwhile, put forward the key technical requirements and considerations for eachsub-project.
