With the rapid development of economy, nonlinear impact loads in powersystem increase, lead to serious distortion of the network signal, the traditionalelectric energy metering and measurement device has been unable to achieveaccurate and reasonable measure of the electric energy. To solve this problem, notonly need the reasonable measurement method but also the appropriate hardwarecircuitry and software algorithms. The current state has not been signal distortionmeasurement standards and under no proof standard for measuring instruments, inorder to verify the correctness of the electric energy metering method under adistortion signal, design the experimental apparatus of electric energy meteringdistortion signal is very necessary.This paper established a grid of typical non-stationary mathematical model ofthe signal distortion. An electric measuring experimental apparatus is designed on thebasis of studying a method of electric energy measurement on the condition ofdistorted signals, The core digital processor is based on ARM+DSP dual-corearchitecture. In the hardware, design to the analog signal generator, data acquisitionmodule, the main control unit module, dual-core communication mechanisms andhuman-computer interaction interface modules, describes the principle and thedesign realization of each module. In software design, ARM and DSP softwaresystem is respectively designed,establish the DVSDK software developmentenvironment for heterogeneous dual-core system and Linux embedded system,complete the design of software of the data acquisition module and the man-machineinterface system, detailed analysis of principle of sub-band wavelet transformalgorithm, use the C language design to energy metering algorithm under theconditions of distortion signal. Communication of the dual-core by DSPLINKsoftware mechanisms to complete. On the experimental instrument, make the measure power experiment for theelectric network distortion typical signals, the experimental results verify thecorrectness of energy measurement method under the distortion signal and the realtime of sub-band wavelet transform algorithm. It provides a certain reference valuefor further research on electric energy metering under the condition of distortionsignal device.
