In recent years, the development of modern automobile industry led to the prosperity and development of the tire industry. Due to massive demand for tires, and now the tire production is demanded to increase output at the same time guarantee the quality of tire production to meet the market, to update the original equipment to meet the requirements of existing production has become a development trend. The tire production includes rubber mixing, extrusion, calendaring, bead forming, tread cutting, vulcanization process, etc. Tread cutting process is one of the key aspects of tire production. How effect of the tread cutting is has important effects on final tire product molding. In this paper, tire tread cutting device is analyzed and researched to achieve a certain degree of automation of the cutting device by seeking high quality, efficient cutting.The paper put a feasible design scheme by analyzing the content of the tread cutting process and the structure and working principle of guide device, countertops, cutting knife mechanism in tread cutting device. And work out the system work flow chart of the improved cutting device. According to the machinability of the rubber and the required technical parameters of the cutting device, the paper designs the cutting device, establishes the temperature field distribution to obtain the most appropriate heating tube temperature in the theory. Finally, the paper selects the control system of the cutting device.There is some significance in improving tread crop productivity, saving costs and improve the accuracy of the tread cutting in the paper. Temperature analysis in this paper also provides a reference for thermal analysis similar to other cutting methods.
