With the development of modern society and automobile technology, the quantity ofautomobile increases day by day. Constant vehicle accident news have people take careof car safety more and more. Automotive Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is widelyused in recent years as an automotive safety equipment, and it’s a kind of effective andinitiative safety equipment. At present, most of ABS products in the market use theapplication of logic threshold as control algorithm for it. ABS with logic thresholdalgorithm has this benefits on simple control strategy and low cost of hardware, butbraking performance and stability still need further improvement. With the developmentof modern control technology, application of advanced control technology in controlfield, makes a improvement the performance of ABS.In this article, first of all, the vehicle braking process is analyzed from the aspects ofmechanics, and the composition, working principle and the existing popular ABScontrol strategy are introduced. Second, virtual prototype model in ADAMS/Car vehicleis established, with the availability access of the established model. Third, combinedwith the vehicle model test, the braking process analysis and the FUZZY control theory,this paper designs FUZZY controller in ABS based on wheel slip ratio. FUZZY toolboxin MATLAB/Simulink of is used. In order to compare, the logic threshold control isestablished. Finally, through ADAMS/Controls module, module of ADAMS/Car vehiclevirtual prototype model and Simulink in the established the two controller forCo-simulation in the Simulink environment, respectively in high with road surface, lowwith pavement and split the road under the straight line braking test simulation.Through the analysis of the simulation results of the fuzzy controller, and comparebetween the result and the simulation results of logic gate limit control, it is found that,the road braking efficiency of ABS fuzzy controller is superior to the control results ofthe logic threshold method, both in the high and low adhesion coefficient road. In thepavement outside, Fuzzy control strategy has good performance in the control of thevehicle lateral stability in the braking process, and avoid the happening of the dangeroussituation.
