Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) was modified by various additives, including curing agents, coupling agents, UV absorbers and stabilizers, etc, to prepare EVA film for photovoltaic modules encapsulation with the anti-PID property.The two factors which affect the anti-PID property is followed:volume resistivity and perviousness. In this paper, the volume resistivity of EVA film and its related influences were researched. It’s can be inferred from the factor experiments that the volume resistivity of EVA film is enhanced in the beginning and then decreased as the additive, including curing agents, coupling agents, UV absorbers and stabilizers, is added into the film to a certain extent. The orthogonal test is designed to test the synergism of all additives according to the result of the factor experiment. And it’s drew a conclusion that the order from big to small of the effects of each additive was coupling agent, cross-linking agent, assistant cross-linking agent, UV absorber, UV stabilizer. In addition, the formula is got.The properties such as cross-linking degree, adhesive strength, anti-aging property were studied. The curing agent had important influence on the cross-linking degree. The increase of the curing agents always resulted in the increase of cross-linking degree within certain realms. The assistant cross-linking agent contributes to extent of cross-linking reaction. The increase of coupling agent content is helpful to the adhesive strength, meanwhile, it’s also do harm to the volume resistivity of EVA film. UV absorber can remarkable enhanced the anti-aging property, while the UV stabilizer had no significant effect on the anti-aging property of EVA film in the experiment. A further research is needed.The behavior of water diffusing in the film is studied based on the large flat diffusion model along the thickness direction. In the experiment, the factors affects the diffusion behavior were mainly researched and the diffusion coefficient was got.
