It is well known that solar energy is not only a clean energy, but also a renewable and inexhaustible resource. For people can live in an environment of sustainable development, the popularization of the solar power must be a way of generating electricity in the future. The solar cell encapsulation film is an important part of the PV modules. It protects the solar battery chips, splices the floors and prevents water from intruding. It’s required to have good light transmittance, excellent anti-ageing performance and excellent bonding performance.Metallocene Ethylene-octene copolymer (POE) is a linear polymer material. It has a good anti-ageing performance and mechanical performance. It’s suitable to be processed into solar cell encapsulation film by adding peroxide crosslinking agent, antioxidant and UV absorber.Firstly, tert-Butylperoxy 2-ethylhexyl carbonate(TBEC) was chosen to be a crosslinking agent in this experiment. The influence of different crosslinking agent content and crosslinking temperature on vulcanization curve, gel content, crystallinity, optical properties and mechanical properties of POE films were studied. Finally the crosslinking system has been determined. On this basis, we also explored the bonding process between POE film and PET film. The experimental results showed that:adding 2% TBEC, the POE film laminated under 135℃ for 25 minutes had good optical and mechanical properties. The POE film laminated under 145℃ for 30 minutes had good peel strength with PET film.Second, pentaerythritol tetrakis [3-(3’,5’-di-tert-butyl-4’-hydroxyphenyl) propionate] (Antioxidant1010), n-Octadecyl-β-(4-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butyl-phenyl)-propionate (Antioxidant 1076) and Tns-(2.4-di-tert-butyl)-phosphite (Antioxidant 168) were chosen to be antioxidant in this experiment. The thermal oxygen ageing effects by means of separate and distribute using the antioxidants had been studied. Finally the oxygen ageing system was determined. The experimental results showed that:the system adding 0.2% of Antioxidant 1010 had good thermal oxygen ageing resistance. It still had good mechanical and optical properties under the condition of 80℃ ageing for 960 hours.Finally, UV-944, UV-770, UV-531 were chosen to be a UV absorber in this experiment. The anti ultraviolet ageing effects by means of separate and distribute using the UV absorber had been studied. Finally anti ultraviolet ageing system was determined. The experimental results showed that:0.3% of UV-531 showed good anti ultraviolet ageing performance. It still had good mechanical and optical properties after aging for 960 hours under ultraviolet light.
