Burst disc is the last safety protection device of the pressure vessel. The application of the burst disc equipment are mostly loading inflammable, explosive or toxic medium. In operating, burst disc must never have a leak. When the pressure is abnormal, the burst disc shall be immediately action. The medium in vessel vent through burst disc. As a one-time pressure safety device, the accuracy and reliability of bursting action are ensured by the manufacturing technology and product quality. For the particularity of the burst disc, the type testing is used to evaluate the product quality, performance and the factory production capability. Regulation on safety supervision of special equipment stipulates that products or parts of special equipment (including burst disc) must be subject to a product or part type test. Shenyang special equipment institute&research was responsible for burst disc type testing project.The project mainly studies the type testing of the blasting method and equipment. The project mainly test item are bursting pressure measurement test, fluid resistance coefficient test. This article mainly studies the bursting fluid resistance coefficient test, the key is how to determine the accurate determination of fluid flow, and adjustment and control test media pressure. Drag coefficient testing system of burst disc is made up with traversed the nozzle group, testing device, high precision absolute pressure sensor, high accuracy differential pressure sensor. It can test50-200mm diameter of the burst disc. In less than bursting pressure condition, it can accurately measure the test medium flow, and calculated the fluid resistance coefficient of blasting.
