The microcomputer protect device testing method as one of the core part in the relay testing apparatus has become the hotspot subject in the domestic and international protect fields. The key point lies in improving the automic and effect for the difference method between general protect and microcomputer, for testing new style protect principle with complex protect logic.With the development of electrical industry, the test items of microcomputer protection tester is more and more complex, and more and more problems in the testing process. After reading large quantity literature and document, deep studying the new style microcomputer protect principle, basing the on-site protect device and the testing data, studying the test items of some problems highlighted and common during testing in the microcomputer protection tester. This paper analyzes the criterion of computer protection principle what protect the transient component and fault component, giving the automatic test methods of frequency variation range and low-cycle load shedding; considering the special problems of transformer differential protection, analyzes the transformer wires to the inrush current and its own compensation measures, computing the fundamental and harmonic in the current use the Kalman filter algorithm, giving a set of accurate and efficient test programs of transformer differential protection; consider the importance of transient characteristics of TA testing in the power system, in this paper, suing the three-loop measurement system and a square wave pulse current method combined with frequency conversion technology to test the transient characteristics of TA.This paper studied the testing method of relay protection device whose essence is a comprehensive testing microprocessor-based protection device design, the integrated test device has a variety of new microprocessor-based protection module test function modules with both TA test, could be fully automated, all-digital relay to complete a variety of tests to meet a variety of site requirements, improve efficiency, has some theoretical reference value and significance of product-oriented...
