Research And Practice Of The Painting Device Transformation In Vehicle Manufacture

Automobile coating is an important technological link to complete the car "face", thepurpose in addition to prevent metal corrosion, it still can rise to beautify the appearance ofthe car. But the topcoat spray painting workshop will produce a lot of waste paint slag andwastewater, high cost on the control pollution, how to stabilize the spraying quality, reducematerial consumption and reducing pollutant emissions has been the focused byautomobile enterprises. Various types of spray equipment and the combination of differentatomizing device is widely used in automobile coating process, the spraying robot hasgradually become the key elements of the new solution of automotive painting.Firstly analyzed status at home and abroad of spray technology and spraying device,researched working principle of spraying equipment and various types of atomizing device.The application at home around the world of spraying robot and paint atomizer wasanalyzed. Compared and researched the spray painting robot and spray copying machine,provides a theoretical basis for the subsequent engineering project decision.Secondly, the application of various brands of spraying robot was studied. Focus onthe different objective conditions needed for spraying robot application, detailed analysisof the robot selection affect the later cost and the production line prophase design. Theselection of different spraying robot has an important influence on the designing andretrofitting scheme of spraying production line. The comparative researched on the twospraying robots YASKAWA SHOUGANG EPX2900and EPX2700, laid the foundation forthe transformation of LF spraying production line of coating equipment.Finally, according to the LF group painting shop project of first phase project, thespraying copying machine can’t work well, resulted in the spraying quality not stable,caused the manufacturing high cost. So using the spraying robot to transform the sprayingequipment was proposed. To improve the spraying quality, short construction period andthe cost of transformation are main factors. Base on those factors, analyzed and designedseveral kinds of proposals of introducing alternative spraying robot. The wall hanging typespraying robot EPX2700and ITW RAM303type electrostatic rotary cup atomizer wereselected and specific requirements for the important performance indexes of spraying robotwere put forward after comprehensive analysis and assessment. This retrofitting project hassolved the problem which restricts production "bump cup" and had important effect ondesigning of the company following spraying production line.
