Along with the construction and rapid development of our country’s highway, the trafficvolume is increasing, and overload phenomenon exists generally. In addition, natural disastersare also causing damage to highway. The maintenance work has become more and moreimportant, among which pothole repair is a common daily work. Fast and efficient methods ofpothole patching call for urgent attention. American and European countries have alreadyconfirmed that the spray injection pothole patching is a rapid, low consumption and effectivepatching method through years of experimental and research, but our country did littleresearch about it. In such context, from the perspective of system, this paper mainly studiesthe suitable material process, equipment and key technology of spray injection method,aiming at introducing and absorbing the new pothole repair method.Through the comparative analysis of common pothole patching methods, this paperdemonstrated the feasibility and advantage of spray injection method. This paper firstlystudied the technological process, then introduced the key system of spray injection patcheraccording to the process requirement, at last analyzed the theory of pneumatic conveyingsystem and simulated and optimized the gas-solid injector.1. In view of the characteristics of technological process, this paper worked out thesuitable repair materials for spray injection method, studied the process steps of sprayinjection method. Combined with the technological characteristics, from the perspective ofimproving the quality of pothole patching, the author analyzed the adhesive, emulsifiedasphalt and aggregate for spray injection.2. Based on the process steps of spray injection, in order to achieve the effectiveimplementation of the process operations, this paper analyzed the key system that needed forthe proper functioning of the spray injection patcher and studied the inner link of thesubsystem and the power pass line.3. Based on the theory of pneumatic conveying, taking Matlab as a tool, this papersolved the differential equations of pneumatic conveying using Runge-Kutta method,analyzed the influence of different factors on the transport properties, and put forward theevaluation index that is suitable for spray injection method for the working efficiency ofpneumatic conveying system, studied the affection of air velocity, pressure, mixture ratio andpipe inner diameter to the work efficiency of straight pipe pneumatic conveying system underdifferent conditions, and designed the pipeline and the gas-solid injector. 4. With computational fluid dynamics software Fluent as the tool, gas-solid injector wassimulated using Euler model, the simulation results were analyzed and the accuracy andprecision of the simulation results were discussed. Through comparing the simulation ofgas-solid injector with different structures, the intrinsic factors that affect the properties ofpneumatic conveying were analyzed, and the gas-solid injector was optimized.
