In recent few years, the hybrid structure systems have been extensively applied to the tall buildings and super-tall buildings in our country. But the present researches mostly concentrate on these aspects of univers parameter such as the the failure mechanism of structure when it suffer the rare earthquake action and the control of the comparatively displacement of structure floors under the earthquake action etc, the study on the out-of-plane joints between steel beam and concrete wall which do highly effect on total displacement and stiffness of this structure system is not comprehensive. The stress state of out-of-plane joints between steel beam and concrete wall under composite stress state of compression, bending and shear is complex, so it is important to go into details of these joints on the stress performance and the failure mechanism in order to design joints which force transmission is clear..calculation is reliable, structure is reasonable and it is easy to be constructed. Based on previous research, one group (three specimens) of two anchor plates joint and the other group (three specimens) of90°hook anchor joint were tested under low cyclic loading to study on the capacity and the seismic performance of both joints under low cyclic loading, and then we studied with finite-element analysis using ABAQUS.According to the obtained experiment data and the experimental phenomenon, the feature of specimens were analyzed by experiment researches, such as failure form, hysteresis curves, bearing capacity, stiffness degradation, ductility, energy dissipation and the strain of primary area under low period cyclic loading. The results show that, by a contrast between two anchor plates joints and90°hook anchor joints, the anchor plate behind the wall can greatly improve the anchoring performance of anchor bar and enhance the bearing capacity and the deformation capacity of the specimens, but the ductility and energy dissipation capacity of both joints have no obvious difference.Under the action of out of plane bending moment and axial force, the loading of shear walls is not uniform,so that the strain of longitudinal and horizontal reinforcement is larger, there is an effective stress range around a anchor plate along the height and width of the wall. Along the height and width of the wall, the stress near the region of anchor plate is higher than the far one; A phenomenon of outward bulge bending happened at the connection with the flange girth of steel beam of both joints under cyclic loadings. This destruction has negative effects on stress performance of the anchor bar, so some measures should be taken to change the constitution.Compared test results and analysis results by the finite element software ABAQUS, the results of tests agree well with that of simulation. On that basis, from the results of finite element simulation, the bearing capacity and the seismic performance of these joints can be markly transformed by changing the thickness of anchor plate and anchor bar arrangement subject to the need of basic construction; high axial compression ratio of both joints have a negative impact on bearing capacity and ductility. On the basis of concluding the whole paper’s works, this paper puts forward some problems to be solved. A large number of experiments are needed to study these factors such as the cross-sectional area of the anchor bar, thickness and length of the anchor plate, anchor bar’s placement and the strength of concrete which how to influence the seismic performance of the joints; the research on failure mode of the joints should be improved and a reasonable model for the destruction should be established. According to a large number of experiment data, obtains ultimate bearing capacity formula of the out-of-plane joints between steel beam and concrete wall will be obtained.
