With the development of power electronics, AC speed control system has made rapid progress. However the DC speed control system with the good performs on speed control is used on many areas such as the VSR motor. The main aim of this paper is to design a speed controller using on the DC PM motor, so the simple PWM system is being designed to perform this task.Many of papers on the DC motor speed control have been analyzed before designing. Considering on the advantages and disadvantages of the common DC motor speed designing, the simple PWM controller has been selected. Besides, the adjustment of speed regulator and the adjustment of current regulator have also been designed, finally the performances of the speed controller have been simulated with the MATLAB/SIMULINK and some parameters of the system were modified. In order to improve the performance of speed controller system, load observer and load compensator have been added to the double loops speed controller system,the performances of resisting load disturbing of the system has been improved increasingly.The single-phase uncontrolled rectifier circuit was implementing to change AC to DC; two big capacitors stabilize the DC to310V more or less.BUCK circuit was used to change the fixed DC voltage to controlled DC voltage with the signal IGBT through change the duty of the IGBT’s gate control voltage.Some progress on the PD control regulator and speed measuring were designed.Some experiments were done to verity the design. The power circuit was running correctly, however the speed measuring progress was failed because the signals was not stable.
