Airborne electrical equipment is the important execution component of thefighter and its reliability is more highly required. Current online test system ofairborne electrical equipment in the environments of mechanics is only able to teststatically but dynamically and it also cann’t detect the instantaneous failure ofairborne electrical equipment when tested in the environments of mechanics. To solvethat problem, a new kind of online test system based on dynamic test method isdesigned.After carefully analyzing the requirements of the test system’s functions andperformances, combining with the latest development of automatic test system athome and abroad, the whole scheme of software and hardware of the OTS is designedand the key technology in the process of the whole design is proposed. In the design,modular instrument resource is adopted to enhance the system’s generality,extensibility and standardization; method of switch signal acquisition is replaced withmethod of analog signal acquisition to realize dynamic testing, meanwhile, real-timeprocess monitoring is implemented to get the capability to detect the reversible failurein the UUT (Unit Under Test); when testing in the special mechanics environmentsuch as centrifuge, the architecture of remote control and acquisition with optical fibercommunication is designed to realize the remote test, at the same time,“fiber opticrotary joint” is adopted to greatly promote the stability and efficiency; LabVIEW isused as the development tool to design the software to control the test process andexecute test operations.The system has been used in the field test of the airborne electrical equipmentsuccessfully. The result shows that the system runs well and has advantages such ashigh efficiency of auto-test and reliability of failure diagnosis results, meeting newdemand of the airborne electrical equipments’ online test in the environments ofmechanics and being beneficial to the research and development of electricalequipment in fighters in our country.
