The Tube Rail Transportation System (TRTS) is a kind of automatic mid-short distance railway transportation system, which is mainly used to transport the coal from pithead to concentrated loading station or pithead power plant. It has strong climbing capacity (max-100%o) and small turning radius, which is suitable for short transportation in hilly coal production area in Inner Mongolia and Shanxi, China. When the trains run on steep slope or start/stop with heavy load, a high instantaneous traction current will be generated without reasonable control. Therefore, in order to meet the transportation needs, the technology of coordinated scheduling for tube rail train group has become the key research topic.Based on the characteristics of railway line in TRTS, the force analysis and energy consumption of multi-particle train were presented. On this basis, a comprehensive control scheme oriented to optimization of energy consumption peak value (ECPV) is proposed referring to the Periodic Event Scheduling Problem (PESP) model. The main research work of this thesis is as follows:First of all, the train performance and line conditions are analyzed, the force analysis of the multi-particle train is given, and the relation model of displacement-velocity-energy consumption is given.Secondly, based on the research above, an objective function is formulated by using the PESP model which balances transportation capacity and ECPV. Then, according to the characteristics of TRTS, the model constraints are analyzed. On this basis, a comprehensive control scheme for tube rail oriented to optimization of ECPV is proposed, and the results of different weightings are analyzed. Finally, the control scheme is applied to TRTS. An operation plan management system oriented to optimization of ECPV is designed. Based on the existing simulation platform, the system’s main function verification and tests are given. The results indicate the effectiveness of comprehensive control scheme oriented to optimization of ECPV.
