Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of China`s economy, logistics industry has been paid moreand more attention as the economic growth "Accelerator".People also call it "The Third ProfitSources".Different from developed countries, heavy manual work and low level automationstill exist in China’s logistics industry, therefore, it is urgent to build new kind of distributioncenter which is both informationalized and modern. Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is animportant part of modern distribution center. It can improve work efficiency greatly.Weshould master the core technology of AGV as quickly as possible, especially the advancedintelligent control technology.Enhancing our self-developing capacity is the key to lower themanufacturing costs. Then AGVs will get widespread application in various industries ofChina. The main research content of this paper is AGV path planning technology.According tothe characteristics of the distribution center’s paths and hybrid bidirectional lanes, this paperproposes an AGV dynamic path planning approach which is based on the known map.It usesthe random ergodic properties of chaotic sequences to improve the PSO algorithm, planningthe shortest path from the start position to the target position. Then the off-line path planningtable can be established.Transport tasks assignment considers workloadbalancing, remaining battery and distance factors. Upper computer plans the transport path forevery AGV in sequence.Based on retrieving the off-line path planning table, program usesgeometry fine adjustment to against path conflict and sudden path blockage fast andaccurately.Matlab simulation results showed that the algorithm was feasible and efficient.Thealgorithm not only achieved AGVs collision-free path planning, but also balanced theworkload. All AGV can charged up at appropriate time.AGVs can work efficiently for a longtime, that provide a guarantee for the quality of service of the distribution center.
