With the increasing consumption of fossil fuels such as oil, coal and environmentproblem increasingly prominent, Solar power technology as a kind of alternative energy,are more and more get the attention of people. Although there are many solar batterymaterials at present, the monocrystalline silicon solar cells in the next10to20years willcontinue to occupy the main market share. This article focus on light generation rateexpressions and the influence of the doping concentration on the current density inp-region, n-region and space charge region and short circuit current, open circuit voltage,fill factor and conversion efficiency.Light generation rate G(x) decided to the performance of solar cells,. The article usesthe standard spectral distribution and silicon material absorption coefficient throughcalculation of a large number of discrete values and fitting to get the expression of thegeneration rate. Now most people use PC1D or AMPS to calculate the performance ofmonocrystalline silicon solar cells, but cannot get the influence of doping concentration onthe diffusion current density in p-region and n-region and light generation current densityin space charge region and reverse saturation current density. The article on the basis ofShockley model, use light carrier mobility model, lifetime model and silicon materialabsorption coefficient model to calculate to obtain the influence of the dopingconcentration on the current density in the main part of the solar cell main performanceparameters such as short circuit, open circuit voltage and so on. And3–D graphics is moreclear, specific and comprehensive show the influence of doping concentration on theperformance of the solar cell.The method of solving the generation rate on the solar cell and and the comprehensiveinfluence of doping concentration on the solar cell, Not only can provide reference forstudy other kinds material solar cells but also can be used as a reference data of dopingconcentration in solar cell manufacturing process.
