With the accelerating process of urbanization, landfill sites are getting farther away from the cities, compressed garbage transfer becomes a necessary part of waste disposal. The transport vehicle is a special equipment to transport garbage contain. Most of the existing transport vehicles are operated manually, and have poor levels of automation. This paper comes from the project of Dalian commission (project number:2009-3-215-jw-cxyhz). This paper designs a hydraulic and control system of vertical garbage transfer vehicle based on the structure design of new waste transfer frame and the current advanced hydraulic simulation technology. The specific work of the design and analysis are as follows:According to the structure, technical parameters and functional requirements, determine the hydraulic system, it contains implementation components, container doors branch, moving carriage branch and turning mechanism branch, and satisfies the action required of implementation components. Even consists of the system pressure, hydraulic oil, hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic pumps and other accessories.This paper builds the simulation models of the hydraulic system through AMESim and takes the method of single-stage cylinder cascade to build5-cylinder single-acting in HCD. The parameters are designed and the system is debugged. The simulation is designed to get a response of the hydraulic system to the electrical control system. Through the simulation of unloading and loading process, the curve of the hydraulic cylinder piston speed, displacement, pressure, the flow with time are obtained. The effect of control valve and the impact are reflected. The simulation results are consistent in the requirement of the system design which indicates the hydraulic system is reasonable and the hydraulic components can meet the requirements of the system.Considering the hydraulic system, the PLC control system for vertical transport vehicles was designed, including the master power circuit, PLC control circuit and solenoid valve control circuit; The hardware of system is selected, including PLC brand, relays, buttons, lights and proximity switches; The installation method of proximity switches are designed; The PLC program of loading and unloading is wrote according to controlling flowchart.The final system simulation shows that the hydraulic system is rational. The selection of hydraulic components can meet the requirements and the control system can finish loading and unloading processing. We can find the position of impact and take measures to deal with it. The system can meet the work requirements of vertical garbage transfer vehicles.
