Garbage Compressor is a main type equipment in garbage transfer station,controlled by hydraulic system and used for compress garbage to block, for thepurpose of reducing the garbage volume. Its working principle is that pouringgarbage to the storage bin, extruding garbage time and time again to a dense block,then pushing the garbage block to the garbage truck. After that, the garbage trukdeliver the block to the waste treatment plant for finally treatment. In this way, wecan reduce the pollution to environment again.The new type underground garbage compressor adopts level compression, allhydraulic controlled and designed to be compression-detrusion incorporatedstructure, with the character of safety and reliable, efficient and environmentally,compact structure and high automation. It mainly consists of compression device,detrusion device, the gate control device, spraying deodorizing device, the wastedisposal plant, hydraulic system and electric control system and so on. We make adesign and research on the garbage compressor electro-hydraulic control system,through reading, analysis and synthesis a large number of documents, combiningwith hydraulic technology, the classical control strategy, PLC control and systemsimulation technology.In the hydraulic control section, according to the Condition Analysis andmotion analysis, we completed the design and calculation of hydraulic system. Themain components and related auxiliary components of the hydraulic system wereselected and checked by calculation. To simplify the design of hydraulic station, wemade an integrated design for hydraulic control system by using sandwich platevalve. Simulation model of the hydraulic system was established by the use ofAMESim simulation software, and made a simulation analysis of the hydraulicsystem control of velocity and displacement.In the electrical control part, PLC was used as a controller. The electricalhardware of the system was determined,and the electrical control circuit was drawed.The design of the electrical control system was completed and the main electricalcomponents were selected. PLC’s selection and I/O address assignment and otherhardware design jobs were all completed. The system flow chart and diagram wereprogramed and the program was compelled and debugged. After being debugged,theprogram achieved a predetermined control requirement.
