As an significant unit of the industrial infrastructure, the press-fit has been widely usedin aerospace,automobile manufacturing, automotive and transportation industry. In recentyears, the automobile as the leading manufacturing has been developed rapidly, and alsocontributed significantly in promoting the progress of pressing technology. The traditionalpressure equipment can’t suit the engine cylinder head valve seat in mix lines, which reducedthe production efficiency, and restricted the development of enterprise. What’s more, thepressing accurancy can’t meet the requirements, which seriously affects the quality of engineassembly. Based on these problems, this thesis pay attention on the study and development ofthe valve seat pressing device for automotive engine cylinder head.Cylinder head valve seat pressing machine can be summarized into three parts, theconveying device, feeding device and pressing device. The cylinder head delivery device is totransport cylinder head to each station with motor raceway for pressing,during thetransporting to corresponding station, the two position pins are positied on its combustionchamber surface; the feeding device is a auto-device by ballistic feeding; based on theinterference principle, the catheter and seat are pressed into the related position to finish thepressing of cylinder head.This thesis main points about the research content is the devise for pressing mechanismdevice of cylinder head valve seat press-fit, which is consist of the overall design of press-fitmechanism device, structure design and motion simulation,dynamic characteristics analysisof pressing device,statics analysis and modal analysis and so on. Under the concept ofself-balance pressing mechanism device for cylinder head valve seat, it has completedstructural design on pressure mechanism device and motion process simulation, the pressingforce is analyzed in the basis of interference theory, then according to the simulink module ofMatlab software to set up the simulation model, dynamic characteristic curves are gained.With the ANSYS software, static analysis for pressing bar and C frame structure are done, andthe stress distribution and displacement characteristics of key components for satisfying with high strength and good mechanical properties are got. In the same time, the modal analysis ofthe pressing device is to induce the simplified device into ANSYS, and to get the naturalfrequency and model, in order to prevent the resonance or to reduce the resonance and noisein the work.
