Along with the mature application of virtual simulation technology, tribology research direction develops gradually from the traditional physical experiment to combination simulation by applying computer technology with physical experiment. Through simulated analysis, we can understand the friction dynamic characteristic of friction pair, and then conduct deep research and study on tribological property factors which affecting friction pair.This thesis takes a pair of cylindrical involute helical gears which run at a high speed as research object, and conducts kinetic study, stress field study and temperature field analysis from the perspective of tribology. It analyzes the frictional force change rule of helical gear pair in meshing transmission, and discusses the influence rule of friction to temperature field, thus provides theoretical reference for the design of helical gears reducer. The main content of this thesis is as follows:1. Based on virtual prototype technology, applied ADAMS dynamics simulation software, and on the basis of verifying the veracity of gear model and load infliction, the thesis analyzes and researches the changing rule of friction force and friction coefficient of helical gear on the process of meshing, reasonably explains why driving gear appears groove, while driven gears appears ridge after long-term running, and the influence rule of rotate speed and load torque to friction force.2. Do nonlinear finite element static simulation, analog and compute the contact stress and its distribution rule of gear pair on meshing process based on Hertz contact theory and adopted ANSYS Workbench software. Do analysis and research on distribution rule of friction stress of involute helical gear surface, thus provide reference for the gear optimization design.3. Do three-dimensional temperature field analysis to involute helical gear based on heat transfer theory and thermodynamics knowledge, and applied finite element emulation technique; Analyze the temperature field distribution rule of meshing gear surface, and research the influence rule of friction to gear temperature field, thus provide reference for design of helical gear driving system.
