Power which is regarded as the national energy pillar industry is related to people’s daily lives and national stable development. So the safe and reliable operation of the power system data center becomes more and more crucial. Power monitoring system can monitor the operating environment of data center in real time, so that the operation and maintenance personnel can accurately obtain the working conditions of power equipment, effectively prevent security risks and timely deal with failure, finally achieve the entire power system safe, reliable and orderly operation. According to the Things, the power monitoring system includes three layers:perception layer, network layer and application layer. The application layer is the core of the power monitoring system. In the application layer, the general monitoring systems are supported by WEB-based access method so that users in different regions can access the system through the client browser in the network situations by the http protocol. Because the WEB-based monitoring system need to build WEB servers, the large amounts of services data and other factors may cause WEB servers overloading which may cause the WEB servers crash. Then the monitoring software will seriously affects the operation and maintenance of the power system.The paper designs a monitoring system software by SSH-based access method using SSH remote login technology against the WEB server crashes. The users can remotely login to the monitoring system to monitor the environment of data center and issue instructions to power devices. We can achieve the dual channel access protection. In the paper, we focus on the design and implementation of the two access methods based monitoring system. The main works include four aspects:1. Comparatively analyze the implementation of the two access methods based monitoring software and propose the related technologies including SSH remote login technology, WEB technology, the Things and cloud computing technology.2. Design the model of monitoring software using SSH-based access method and build the hardware and software operating environment. Design and implement the interface protocols among the secondary monitoring stations, the monitoring station center and the sensors.3. Design the model of the monitoring software using WEB-based access method and build the hardware and software operating environment. Complete the database design, propose and implement the optimization algorithm for six functional modules.4. Apply the two access methods based monitoring software in practice and deeply analyze the performances.
