The Research Of The Intelligent Building Security Monitoring Platform Based On The Internet Of Things And The Access Control

In today’s world,especially in our country,with the rapid development of urbanization,the modern buildings have a qualitative leap not only in appearance,but in structure.However,building security monitoring management does not keep up with the times.Problems include,but are not limited to,the lack of an effective method for discovering and eliminating all kinds of potential safety hazards in time,the lack of a scientific and effective emergency treatment,the lack of a flexible access control mechanism.To solve the problems,this thesis talks about the Internet of things technology and the access control technology,then we design and develop the intelligent building security monitoring platform based on the Internet of things as well as the access control system adapted to the platform.We first combine the characteristics of wireless sensor network with the scenes in the buildings to design the overall architecture of the intelligent building security monitoring platform.On the basis of the architecture,we try to solve the problem that traditional access model being used isn’t flexible enough for the new requirements.The problem may lead that we couldn’t deal with the alarm events timely and may cause potential safety hazards.In this thesis,we compare and analyze different access control models,applying the access control model based on environmental awareness to the building regulation.Then we develop the access control system adapted to the platform.The System uses RFID technology to identify user’s identity information and user’s context information.At the same time,we combine the access control system with the platform in order to achieve the goal that access rights management becomes more flexible and secure.Finally,we do some usability testing and performance testing for the intelligent building security monitoring platform,the results show that the platform can realize safety regulation for intelligent buildings,and the platform also has the ability to provide better security.
