Automobile drive shaft torque is one of the important parameters. The shaft isresponsible for the passing the engine torque to the driving wheels of the car, to ensurethe stability of the car. Only ensure the guarantee of drive shaft torque measurementand detection precision and accuracy, and then can determine the car’s dynamicperformance can meets the design requirements of automobile transmission system.This topic is to make a reverse shock absorber installed in light trucks, to design ameasurement system can dynamic torque measurement.This topic is based on the principle of phase difference measurement. Firstly, theshaft is analyzed with mechanics. And it is concluded that the relationship between thetorsion angle and torque. Signal acquisition hardware system was designed, and thenmagne to electric sensor is mainly used.In view of the collected signal strength isweak. So the signal conditioning circuit is designed. Hardware acquisition system isthe the most important part of the single chip microcomputer system. signal is bysingle chip microcomputer system through serial port communication sent to the PC.Secondly, through theoretical analysis, the algorithm of the phase difference isdeduced from theprinciple. Using LabVIEW and carries on the simulation experiments,and then according to the simulation results to select the best phase differencealgorithm.Again, using the idea of virtual instrument to collect for processing, UsingLabVIEW structure the virtual experiment platform. And then the PC system receivethe single chip microcomputer’s data was sent via a serial port. And then throughcalculation, it can be concluded that the current moment of torque value, display,waveform display and data storage, time and frequency domain analysis, time-domainanalysis, etc.
