With the rising of social civilization degree and economic level, the automobilemanufacturing industry is facing more and more pressure. the consumer’s subjectiverequirements of economy and power is gradually increased, and they put forward higherrequirements and evaluation of vehicle performance. As a major trend in today’s automobiledevelopment, both of the structure and working principle of hybrid electric vehicle hascertain difference with traditional vehicle. In order to improve the technology content,reduce fuel consumption and create the selling point of green energy, many automobilemanufacturers increased the hybrid system based on the traditional car models.With hybrid system, the weight of traditional car and many functions as EV travel、engine start-stop、motor power and brake energy regeneration are increased. The powerperformance, fuel economy, emissions performance, braking performance and NVH aredifferent with traditional car. Therefore, the related research institutes and various researchinstitutes have done more research and analysis. However, the research of differences insubjective experience of driving after increasing hybrid system and how to evaluate thefeeling of driving is still not very thorough and painstaking. As the first impression, thedriving feeling is an important driving force and reference index when the customer choose acar to buy. In some extent,“a good driving feel is half of the success of the vehicle.”The hybrid vehicle is different with the traditional car in the course of driving, such asthe presence and frustration when you switch the power mode, the mutation of decelerationsense when recovery of braking energy. If there’s a big complaint in driving feeling, it candirectly affects the customer’s first impression of the vehicle, especially in the aspects whichthe customer can intuitively feel when they are driving, such as the feeling of driving andtraveling。So, whether how strong the sense of science and technology is, how low thefuel-efficient rate is and how superior the reliability is, the problem will take the cars’ appealdown. How to distinguish and determine the difference about the driving feeling betweenwith and without the hybrid system of vehicle, finding the main factors and condition andevaluate and optimize the subjective driving in the view of the users according to thecondition point, is a meaningful research and a major goal which the automobilemanufacturers pursuit. To the evaluation of the hybrid driving feeling, domestic manufacturers are still inexploratory stage and there’s several related exchanges and research articles. Not perfecttraditional vehicle evaluation system is an important factor, which hinders the increase of theevaluation capability about hybrid vehicle and electric vehicle. Although there’s someresearch in foreign companies, as the key technology, it is rarely disclosed.This article mainly aims at the changes and differences of driving between thetraditional car and the car with hybrid system, and distinguishing and confirming thesespecial conditions, such as the Besturn plug-in hybrid and the Hongqi hybrid. The researchof the attention point of driving performance, and the formulation of the evaluation index,the evaluation method and the evaluation condition of parallel hybrid driving sense, are allbased on two models which the FAW independent research.
