Water is one of our resources which human being relys on it affects every aspectof our lives.We can’t live without water from daily life to the production of industry andagriculture. However, because of the lack of water, we pay more attention to the useof water. Therefor, it is significant and hot for scientific research direction to dectectand control the moisture content of the substances, consisting of storage andtransportation of grain, mining of oil and ore, wood processing, soil testing and so on.This subject beginning with the testing of material moisture, invent an equipmentand method to realize the moisture content with high-precision and non-destruction.Different method of moisture dection has to its characteristics, range ofapplication and problems. This subject use microwave technology to measuremoisture content by knowing some application about conventional methods such asthe electric resistance method of moisture content, capacitance method, neutronmethod, infrared method and microwave method and other methods.Moisture will polarize under microwave and microwave will be reflection,transmission and scattering during transmission, so it can be determined by measuringthe change of the parameters of the microwave. It can be easier measured withoutdirect contaction by using microwave space technology.This subject discuss the moisture content by using microwave transmission.Its principle is using the loss of molecular polarization to make the strength ofmicrowave associate with the dielectric constant of the material power rate. So as torealize the moisture content of the material. Microwave transmission can realize notonly the solid-liquid moisture detection on line but also provide a more stable, high effeciency and high precision method of moisture measurement. In the display partprocess the collected data through the STM32MCU(analog-to-digital conversion ofinternal integration). Finally, the moisture content of curve and real-time monitoringdata.This thesis design and develop a device of the moisture content of granularmaterial on the basis of the microwave transmission technology. Its advantage lieson the whole device has simple structure, measurement quickly and precision andstrong anti-interference ability.It realizes the real-time detection and the monitoring of material moisture contentthrough the research and design of the hardware display system. It has broadlyapplication prospects in industrial and agricultural production.
