Computer monitoring system monitors various railway equipment conditions, which is the most important infrastructure of ensuring railway safety. China has proposed the railway signal computer monitoring system direction of centralized monitoring. Asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit has unique advantages in solving problems of track circuit insensitivity shunt. For existing lines, asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit is able to superimposed the use with phase-sensitive and frequency-shift track circuit, while without interference. Computer monitoring system equipment debugging and testing both need signal source, but with objective constraints, in most cases it is difficult to obtain equipment signal sources.For fuither study on asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit in computer monitoring process, according to the needs in railway signal computer monitoring system, an asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit signal generator is designed base on the embedded system in this paper, which amends deficiencies in asymmetric pulse track circuit signal generator, and also bestow an easier access.Signal generator of asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit gives ideas on signal generating and controlling. STM32F103RET6is selected as CPU of the signal generator board in which core is constructed by ARM Cortex-M3. Designing each part of hardware schematic through Prote199SE, drawing footprint and placing line, and welding and debugging, an asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit signal generator hardware as a consequence is completed. Moreover mainly used parts include DAC, CAN, timer, with an additional peripherals of LED lights, digital display, DIP switch. With the hardware compilation by library function in the Keil μVision4platform and host PC software compiled by C#language in the Microsoft Visual Studio platform. The host PC communicates and controls signal generator. TJA1050CAN-bus driver chip communicates with the USB-CAN connector, in this way the software communicates with signal generator board, CAN port on board selected DB9applies to IPC. This signal generator board can run with power separately; also could work when receive command from the host computer. This two working status all can generate the asymmetric pulse signal.Through experiments, the asymmetric pulse high voltage track circuit signal generator is able to output acceptable signal. While the host PC software exchanges signals with signal generator board via CAN bus communication consequently. Signal generator system and software simulation monitoration is successfully achieved by computer monitoring system.This article includes45figures,6tables and42references.
