A considerable number of architects are artists at the same time.Painting is a paper surface construction, describing the spatial feeling of art in the plane. No matter the illusion created by the three-dimensional perspective or the expression painting given on the relationship about enclosure and segmentation, the final show is the graphic on relationship between various forms constructed on the screen with the superposition of different color, brightness and the length of the line.The method of art (especially painting) is used in this paper to establish a channel from the existing material world to the buildings, and line is used as the boat to trace the source of creation.The reason why using line instead of surface or point as a starting point to talk about the construction of space is that line does not exist on the world, but it is used to describe the outline of the object, the ups and downs, the overall trend and so on. Architecture, as the three-dimensional art, its creation always follows for the art of painting. The art of painting is in the development of the concept leading directly to the innovation of building space. At first, it extracts the line through the observation of the object The object including the plant animal, human, mountain, water, trees. The extraction of lines drawn on paper becomes a painting, through the research of representative works of Art (painting, calligraphy and seal cutting), and analysis how they extract the object by line elements. Furthermore, this paper analyses the function of the extraction is used as the expression of the relationship between elements on pictures or the emotional expression. Finally, the relationship on plane is transformed to the spatial relations. The analysis on the formation of the form on the actual cases and the structure point collected for tracing to the source of creation, combined with the author’s study focused on the structure of represent architecture and key nodes, a credible conclusions was given.Creation is a graph of inner emotions. Works of Art provide inspiration for the creation of architecture. The purpose of this paper is not to examine the creation in a comprehensive perspective, but to analyze how to trace the source of creation individually, which can be used as a construction space reference for the future architects.
