The Research Of The Theory Of Sustainable Site Design

Since the concept of sustainable development has been put forward, people are paying more attention to the dangers that excessive development brings to the ecological environment. In2000, the United States has issued the criteria for the assessment of sustainable building LEED. The theory of the sustainable site design still has been in the research stage, until2005, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the American Society of Landscape Architects was held’The Sustainable Sites Initiative’in Austin, Texas and that means the begining for gradually improving the sustainable attributes of the site design. In2009, the sustainable sites initiative launched site specifically for sustainable design evaluation system of <the sustainable sites initiative:2009guidelines and performance benchmark>, then, in2014and launched <the sustainable sites initiativeV2>. And our country now doesn’t have any sustainable design evaluation system, so the analysis to ground the sustainable design theory and practice has important significance to the development of our country itself sustainable site design.At first, this paper made the field of sustainable concepts defined clearly, and then compared the site of the concept of sustainability assessment system with other similar assessment then summarized them. The fourth chapter is for the concept of sustainable site design, starting from the design part analyzes interpretation from sustainable site design projects of every link is summarized for sustainability is the most important in the sustainable site design, then we can ground the sustainable design concepts and do the sustainable design practice, and the combine the idea and practice.This article hopes to be helpful to build the concept of sustainable site design in our country through the analysis of the research for sustainable site design concept and practical summary, and promote the related industry experts for the understanding of the sustainability of facilities, in the design field focused on the field of ecological environment and ecosystem services, and increase the sustainability of the site design in our country, and make efforts to the improvement of people’s living environment.
