Abstract/Summary:
Nowadays, with the proposing of the conception Smart City, more and more people concentrate on the transport domain which is the basis of the city’s development. Under this circumstance, the study of Internet of Vehicular is persistent overheating. However, bus which is the basic service of the city’s do not networking. It facing with the challenge of sole operation mode, informing not timely and ect.Networking the buses to manage them more efficiency is the concrete application of Internet of Vehicular. However, The sensor’s data and some information to passenger will be transmitted form vehicle to vehicle or vehicle to road side unit which needs huge spectrum band. However, WAVE(Wireless Access In Vehicular Environment), the standard of Internet of Vehicular proposed by IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) has some shortcomings like limitation of spectrum band and low spectrum usage. Cognitive Radio(CR) can find idle spectrum and use it to transmit data which is a good way t solve the problem of insufficient spectrum band in Internet of Vehicular. In this paper, we design and implement the platform of bus network based on cognitive radio on the basis of WAVE and some study which trying to apply CR in vehicular network. The main work is:First, the meaning and background of my study is given. Chapter two briefly introduce the concept of CR and it’s function as well as WAVE and implementation of CR in vehicular network.Then facing with the low spectrum efficiency and low reliability, I modified the first and second layer of WAVE and involved the CR in it. I adding spectrum sensing and access opportunity in IEEE1609.4in Mac layer.Finally, to estimating the performance of the modified protocol, in this thesis, I build up a platform and test it in lab circumstance. The platform consists of spectrum management module, support module and access control module. I give the concrete introduction of those modules and the interface of MAC layer based on UDP socket, including the analysis of the testing result.
