With the development of science and technology and the prosperity of social productivity, the railway train has become more large-scale, precise, high speed and automated, which on one hand, improves the production efficiency and reduces the expenditure, on the other hand, place more strict requirements on the design, manufacture, and maintenance and reliability of the mechanical equipment. Therefore, the research on the dynamics of bearing motion and fault characteristics of damaged bearing, which provides the theory support for fault diagnosis, has vital significance.This paper reviews and analyzes the domestic and international relevant research results and methods, and establishes the physical model, the flexible body model, boundary and constraints, and contact settings of rolling bearing based on an analysis of the working principle and fault state, implements the simulation of dynamic process of rolling bearing by the displays dynamic module of Adams. At the same time, the simulation results of the experiment and the related theoretical analysis results are compared, which verify the reliability of the simulation model.Through the analysis of the normal bearing components under different working conditions, including velocity and acceleration, the contact force distribution, the bearing change rule and the dynamic characteristics of motion state, the influence of various speed and load on the bearing inner ring is studied. On the basis of the combination of finite element analysis and dynamic simulation, this paper builds the coupled fault model of the rolling bearing to research on the fault of bearing dynamic characteristics and change rules of modal vibration mode. Thus, respectively analysis of the normal tapered roller bearing in a variety of working conditions and two kinds of fault bearing computer numerical simulation carried out under a single condition, can help us acquire intuitive, quantitative analysis of the data in detail.Results show that under the condition of the same rotating speed, high load for rolling bearing has great contribution on the shock characteristics of the kinetic parameters of components, in cases when under the same load, high speed will impact the periodic of kinetic parameters of components negatively. As for the fault rolling bearing, the acceleration of components has certain growth compared with normal bearing. And the acceleration of all the components can be used as an effective parameter to distinguish between fault rolling bearing and normal rolling bearing.
