For the sake of discovering the malfunction of train's bearing in time and to guarantee the security of the train, the research of on-line malfunction diagnosis become especially important. Aiming at the problems in current malfunction diagnosis of rolling bearing, a malfunction diagnosis system which based on DSP6000 is brought forward in the dissertation. A mass of real time signal can be dealed with depending on the high speed, real time and high precision characteristic of DSP.On the basis of the research of rolling bearing malfunction and the theory and arithmetic of DSP, a malfunction diagnosis system which based on DSP has been established in the dissertation. And the feasibility of the system was demonstrated.First, in the aspect of diagnosis theory, we take the vibration measuring method to diagnose the operation status of rolling bearing and demonstrated the superiority of vibration method. In the aspect of diagnosis method, the realization method, characteristic and content of digital signal process are expounded in the dissertation. Through the comparison of several realization methods, we decided to take general DSP chip to realize the arithmetic of high speed and real time digital signal process.Then from the synthetical capability/price of DSP, we take the high-powered C6701 DSP chip as the core of the system. And the design, function and hardware resource configuration of the diagnosis system are discussed in detail in the dissertation. In the aspect of software design, FIR digital filter and FFT transform are applied. In the dissertation, the theory of FIR filter and FFT and their realization idiographic arithmetic are introduced. FFT operation carrying out on floating-point DSP chip is sufficiently analysed and investigated in the dissertation, and related programming is accomplished.The hardware structure and main characteristic of TI's TMS320C6701 are expounded and it's CCS is introduced in the dissertation. In the aspect of realization of system, signal processing, signal characteristic picking-up and diagnosis judging are accomplished through locale instance data.Applying DSP technology to malfunction diagnosis of rolling bearing have magnitude significance for promoting our country's on-line diagnosis of railway malfunction technology. Diagnosis system which based on DSP6000 is a big attempt in malfunction diagnosis. It carves out more research and application chances for malfunction diagnosis system, and it has wide application foreground.
