With the development of society, ultrasonic testing is becoming more and more widelyapply in various fields of the society. And ultrasonic thickness measurement is an importantapplication in ultrasonic testing, in the oil pipeline wall thickness measurement, concrete wallthickness measurement, etc, ultrasonic thickness measurement is showing a very good role.But the traditional thickness gauge is generally poor measurement accuracy and precision,power consumption of the big, larger volume and other problem. The article mainly aboutexplosion-proof board’s thickness measurement of key components of fuze, the thick degreeof the explosion-proof board can also determine the fuze safety detonated. Due to the problemof structure design of fuze, the general measuring instrument can’t directly measure it, so youneed to use ultrasonic nondestructive testing, and can satisfy a certain accuracy requirement.To understand the several principles of ultrasonic thickness measurement,by contrast,the subject chooses the method of pulse reflection,and chooses the low power consumptionMCU MSP430F149. The article mainly to design of the hardware and software of the system,the construct of the hardware circuit after repeated testing, debugging, the hardware circuitpart includes: single-chip microcomputer control module, the transmitting circuit, receivingcircuit, human-computer interaction module and the design of power supply circuit.Each parthas carried on the detailed analysis and design. Software part mainly be written using Clanguage, including the design of the main program unit, keyboard and LCD display.Finally through the test, to measure the three explosion-proof structure, data and resultsare obtained and compared with the true value, analyzing several reasons of thicknessmeasurement error. After analysis of the result and data, the system satisfies the requirementsof the accuracy and reliability, and improves the intelligent degree and automation degree of thickness measurement system.
