With the development of intelligent transportation field, Research for short-range wireless communications between automotive node and roadside node is becoming a hot spot. Wireless communication module is the core of automotive node. Its technical performance determines the scope of application of the whole system. This paper use ZigBee technology for vehicle communication modules. Considering the demand of reading electronics license and mobile payment via the module, this paper designed and implemented a wireless security communication module based on both a dedicated security chip and a ZigBee chip.This paper introduced the development of intelligent transportation systems and vehicle wireless communication technology’s research background first. And then gave a brief introduction of the key technology on research the module. Chapter III introduced the hardware design of wireless security communication module.In Z-STACK-based software application development, first step is Z-STACK optimized for applications under dynamic scenes. In the last is the system testing and a instance of the module combined application software design are described. This module has the most characteristics of2.4G ZigBee module technology. But a simple ZigBee device does not have a security policy with13.56M RF card control. This module can be used in a variety of intelligent transport systems based on standardized hardware interface. In the final paper is the testing of module functions. The test proved that the modules meet the needs of the project applications.
