With the increase of national investment in infrastructure, large number ofgeotechnical problems appear. Among them, the stability problem of slope and foundationpit is particularly evident. Especially in the coastal areas, rock and soil is affectedby groundwater seepage, a lot of slope instability accidents are due to the action ofgroundwater. There is great practical significance to research the effect of groundwaterseepage on slope stability. The dissertation selects a typical profile of slope as an example and uses the softwareFLAC3Dto model and calculate it, analyzes the condition of slope stability by the cloud ofstress and displacement. By changing the underground water level, explores themechanism of groundwater on slope by the change of slope stability circumstances.Based on the π theorem and strength reduction method, the paper calculates thesafety factor of the slope under different combinations of the parameters, analyzes theinfluence of the strength parameters of rock and soil on the slope stability, and establishesa function of π parameters between safety factor and influencing factors. The results showthat, in these rock and soil strength parameters, the influence of cohesion and friction onthe safety factor is more obvious than tensile strength. The dissertation takes a foundation pit slope in Guangzhou as the research object andestablishes the three-dimensional model of it, respectively calculates and analyzes thestability of the slope under three conditions of dry, seepage and stress not coupled, seepage and stress coupled; the safety factors of slope under three conditions are1.7,1.4and1.1, it illustrates that the effect of groundwater seepage coupled slope stress field onslope stability is obvious, it is very necessary to take the coupling effect of groundwaterand slope into consideration when analyzing the stability of the aqueous slope; theconclusion provides a reference for slope stability analysis of similar projects.
