During the production process of national economy, crane plays a crucial roleon the aspect of material transportation. It could improve production efficiency andaccelerate the development of economic construction.During the operation process of the crane, the movement situations to crane cartand travelling crab are changing, for example, the cargo lifting, sudden braking, etc,all of those produce impacts to crane in varying degrees. Consequently, it isnecessary to analyze and research the dynamic behaviors to the crane, so that tograsp the influence of dynamic load to mechanical structure.The research object in this paper was2t/8.7m wall-sleeving crane. Based on thebasic theory and method of finite element analysis, it conducted static and dynamicanalysis, and the detailed research contents were as follows:(1) This paper established three-dimensional geometrical model, finite elementmodel and dynamic model for wall-sleeving crane;(2) It provided a detailed research on the basic parameter, operating feature andloading category to the wall-sleeving crane, defined the cantilever’sload-carrying condition under two operating conditions: span end and middle,carried out static analysis, as well as the check analysis to strength andstiffness.(3) It set up dynamic equilibrium equation to the wall-sleeving crane, carried outmodal analysis, obtained inherent frequency and vibration mode for the firstten phases modals. Through further analyzing the harmonic response,frequency intervals that were easy to take place resonance were obtained.(4) It established dynamic model for the wall-sleeving crane during liftingprocess, carried out transient dynamics analysis, obtained dynamic responsesduring the lifting process in terms of displacement, speed, accelerated speed, as well as did analytical research on the result data.
