Nowadays with the continuous development of automotive industry, the engine industry grows stronger but the quality problem of engine is still one of the most important factors that restrict the development of China’s engine and automotive industry. To improve the production quality of engine, the article have a deep research on the machining and assembly process of engine, coming up with the quality control system of machining and assembly process of engine, enhancing the control ability of the engine production and helping improve the production quality of engine.First of all, it starts a study on the machining and assembly technic and their characteristics. According to the processing technic, it puts forwards the quality control system of machining and assembly process of engine. The system consists of four parts, there are data acquisition and identification, data analysis and decision, process control and quality control system. What’s more, it also introduces the date identification technology, the RFID, the bar code technology, the OPC and other related information technologies.Then based on the engine machining and assembly process of quality control system, it analyses the engine machining and assembly process of quality control that bases on RFID and also starts another study on the key method of quality control on the basis of the data acquisition process based on the RFID and OPC Technology, the real-time dynamic SPC data driven analysis technology and the quality control knowledge system of machining and assembly process of engine etc.Finally, according to the quality control system and method of machining and assembly process of engine, the engine machining and assembly quality control system (E_MAQCS) has been designed. It makes a clear illustration of the scheme of the EMAQCS, the hardware and software construction and the database model etc. And also, the example of quality control of machining and assembly process of some cars’engines is taken in order to prove its feasibility and practicability.
