Today, the power industry develops rapidly worldwide. In developed countries such as Germany, the annual average outage time is only16minutes, and the time of interrupting power supply is only0.01%. Our country’s power supply capacity can’t meet that level at the moment. So, the feasible distribution automation technology is needed to offset the flaws in function. At the same time, State Grid Corporation of China and local power supply companies have new requirements for the automation of distribution network. That makes the ongoing hot topic of research in automation issues get further warming. Therefore, the local distribution automation at the present stage plays an important role. Getting it done well will help to improve the management and technology of distribution system. Together with the construction of Smart Grid, we are aimed at attaining international standards and surpassing the electric automation level of developed countries.This thesis is based on my personal feelings and the analysis of the experience of the colleagues who have participated in a pilot project of distribution automation system in Dalian. The text first briefly introduces the prior research work and practical application of distribution automation system in Dalian city; analyzes the definition, theoretical significance and main function of distribution automation; discusses the good power distribution network structure of city and corresponding protection configuration scheme. On that basis, more discussion includes the accomplishment of distribution automation, its basic functions, the technical means to achieve distribution feeder automation, and the distribution automation system using self-healing control technique. Next part elaborates on the network information of pilot area, distributed concept of distribution automation and optimum design for power engineering. Considering the reality of pilot area, optical fiber and wireless network are adopted for communication. The construction of distribution automation is combined with the research and development of new technology and all-round work about Smart Grid. It also draws some lessons from the successful experience of similar intelligent construction. Each of the functions of distribution network can be perfected because of all the elements above.This thesis is completed under the guidance from teachers and friends. There may be need for improvement. But it provides a good material for distribution automation construction in the future. It is hoped that the distribution network automation in Dalian can be fully completed in the future. |
