The superimposed structure of reinforced concrete is widely used abroad as a new type of slab. It is a kind of truss structure made by welding one top steel bar, two bottom steel bars and two serpentine steel braces together. The structure can resist loads, meanwhile the concrete is used as precast concrete superimposed bottom slab.In practical engineering in order to expand the scope of application of superimposed floor, usually we connect two pieces of superimposed plate along the plate end or side edge and strengthen necessary reinforcement in the joints to form a two-way force or increase the span. The paper describes and discusses the connection details at the end of the plate.Based on the static loading experiment of two superimposed slabs without connections and four superimposed slabs with different modes of connections, this paper records the whole process of every specimen from the appearance of crack to the failure of specimens, analyses the load carrying properties, deformation, crack development of every specimen comparatively and the role of lattice steel played in the load process of superimposed slab. With the FEA program, ABAQUS, the numerical analysis for six slabs is simulated respectively, and the corresponding results are compared with the experiment ones.
