With the continuous development of economy, urban subway, as a kind of importanttransportation, has been recognized its significance and has been fully developed. At present,2300km subway line is in operation among24cities in the domestic, whosepassenger flow volume has reached60million people daily. The problems of safety wereconcerned about more often especially after the Daegu subway accident appeared. But fromthe point of view of operation safety, urban subway, underground belongs to a semi-enclosedspace. If the subway tunnel fire accident happened, because of highly crowded crowds andpoor evacuation ability, the casualties may become huge. To solve this problem, this articlestudies on the effect of evacuation of water mist technology in the subway tunnels.By analyzing the relevant data which used in subway tunnel water to control flue gas fireextinguishing system, and the available safety evacuation time can be effectively extend. Bycomparing the pros and cons of different water fire extinguishing system, the water mistsystem is selected as the subway tunnel fire smoke control measures. To establish a model of a subway tunnel, set the condition of four kinds of water mistsystem arrangement, establish the subway tunnel fire simulation model by the FDS simulationsoftware, through the simulation analysis of the four conditions, four set water mist fog "wall"as a fire in the process of flue gas, all can retard the spread of flue gas, improve visibility, andso on; Based on different spacing of fine water spray mist curtain arrangement analysis of thevarious parameters of water mist in20m span arrangement, the fire to evacuation influentialparameters can be effectively controlled by the ability to smoke baffle.Based on the analysis of effectiveness of water mist system, this research simulated theevacuation process under the20m span conditions through the application of Pathfinder.
