For coal-fired boiler, slagging and fouling problem has been plagued with design andoperation of power station boiler. Due to the diversity of our country coal, the differencesalways exist between the actual coal and designed coal of plant,when different coalcombustion in boiler, the slagging and fouling problems it brings is different.In this paper, problems of slagging of Huarun (Panjin)350MW unit which has fourcorners tangentially coal-fired boiler during trial operation was analysised. The method ofanalysis combined with the debugging personnel field experiment and model simulation, acomprehensive analysis in three angle was conduct,for instance,coal,combustion in thefurnace during the operation, and the problem of soot blowing.Practical debuggingsuggestions are given.In the end, additional energy consumption caused by fouling wasanalysis.In terms of economic operation optimization of power plant, has certain practicalsignificance.Analysis and test show that,the actual fuel of Huarun (Panjin) during the trial operationbelongs to the emphasize on the slagging degree, and has a lot of ash, through theoptimization of coal blending, determine the proportion of appropriate combustion to reduceslagging in furnace;The furnace combustion conditions, under full load, by using six sets ofgrinding uniform output way, appropriate to reduce two wind bellows valve position toaround50%can reduce the area of the circle diameter is too large.For the fire side near thecorner burner area of low pressure is easy to slag zone.By increasing the opening to55%perimeter wind, reduce the nozzle temperature, may play a role in mitigation. In terms of sootblowing operation, the sootblowing frequency of the upper part of the burner and thehorizontal flue should be strengthen. For the tail heating surface, starting from the economy,downstream than upstream heating surface soot blowing frequency can be higher, thefrequency of air pre heater soot blowing is higher than the economizer. By adjusting measuresdebugging personnel gives, Large coke slag crusher of the boiler thermal efficiency isobviously reduced, the actual reached the design values under BMCR. Slagging foulingproblem has been eased to some extent.
