In recent years, with the rapid development of China’s urban rail transit, the utilization of land is far behind expectation. The property on the subway depot is a trend to solve this problem. However, properties on the subway depot have an inevitably impact on the internal forces of the existing depot structure and the deformation of foundation. On the one hand, properties on the subway depot increase the load of existing subway construction structure, which have an impact on the structure force. Once the internal force has a huge increase, the safety and durability are at risk. On the other hand, the increasing load caused by new construction caused the foundation settlement. The foundation settlement will result in the changes of track settlement and geometry, which may cause serious damage to the rails, sleepers and fastenings. Maintenance increased work and costs. Derailment events may occur because of the overrun of track geometric. There are successes and lessons in the construction of the property on the subway depot, to study the impact and control measures of the track and structure with property on is of great significance.The main contents are as follows:1. Analyses and summary about the characteristics of properties on the subway depot is made, and a systematic analysis of its impact and the depot is achieved. Combined with depot property development examples, this paper summarized the success and lessons of properties on the depot.2. The mechanical characteristics of depot structure under construction loads and permanent load conditions are studied in this paper. Using structural analysis software SAP2000, a three-dimensional model of the subway depot is made to simulate various conditions during construction and verify the security of the structure.3. Semi-theory and semi-experience method and finite element method are used to analysis the foundation settlement and track deformation. A further comparison of the result made by the two methods is made to discuss the characteristics of the two methods.4. Based on monitoring data, an analysis about the foundation settlement and track deformation is made. Compared with the experimental results and simulation results, the reliability of the computational model is verified. The characteristics of the depot foundation settlement and track deformation is summarized in this paper.5. The risk factors of different stages and control measures are proposed. Risk management process control is studied to decrease the risks of properties on the subway depot.
