A Study On The Development Of Landscape Bridge Of Hangzhou Westlake Scenic Spot

Bridge itself is a combination of technology and art.Summarizing and concentrating nature,Chinese classical garden attaches great importance to mountain-making and water-designing.that decides to close relationship of the bridge and landscape. Through the development process of ancient classical garden, Chinese landscape bridge formed a unique system of Chinese traditional landscape bridge and style.The development of modern landscape architecture led to the metamorphosis and development to the modern landscape bridge.To analyze the development process,designing and landscape functions of landscape bridge in search of it’s development tendency.is of important practical value to its design and application in landscape architecture.In the theoretical study,based on the historical researches on landscape bridge, and combining the history of bridge and landscape architecture.analyze and summarize the historical development of Chinese landscape bridge and the features of each period.This part also summarizes the influence to Chinese traditional landscape bridge system of bridge technology, Confucianism and Buddhism thought, folk culture and literature,painting,and the system’s features. In addition,it also includes analysis of the challenge of modern landscape bridge. Accord ing to the above analysis,summarize classical system and the characteristics of application.That includes arch bridge,beam bridge,pavilion bridge and covered bridge,cliff,and stepping stone on water surface and so on.And from two aspects of modern bridge structure and the ecological design idea, analyzes the development of traditional landscape bridge in modern situation and ecological bridge case.Then based on the above analysis,this dissertation analyzes the basic law of aesthetics,to discuss model design, color and texture design, building on bridge designand ancillary facilities design of landscape bridge.At last.it also tries to discuss the application of landscape-bridge scenery making methods.Mountain environment can be divided into natural mountain and rockery environment.Water environment can be divided into narrow surface and block surface.Analysis of landscape bridge style design and design methods.In the part of example analysis,this dissertation makes field investigation to landscape bridge in the West Lake landscape of Hangzhou via methods of accessing to literature and field investigation and analysis.Emphasis is put on the comprehensive park,in which water environment accounted for the majority of the landscape,including Lotus Stirred by Breeze in Quyuan Garden,Viewing Fish at Flower Pond and Prince Bay Park.In addition, this dissertation also makes a brief analysis of Hangzhou Zoo,Hangzhou Children Park, which is also called Sweet Osmanthus Rain at Manjuelong Village,and Xiling Seal Engravers Society Park,which has a large proportion of mountain environment.In general, the landscape bridge in the West Lake landscape of Hangzhou realize the innovation in succession.Its design and application are in the coordination of its landscape style.The group of landscape bridge unifies the style of landscape. It also makes outstanding work in protecting,recovering and repairing the ancient bridge.However,it has quiet a few problems.For example, archaized landscape bridge’s building by using of new materials, and new technology is rough and its modern feel is overweight.The last part is a summary.Based on a synthetic analysis of landscape bridge’s development,design and application,try to explore its development tendency.The application of new materials,and new technology is more and more widely;Chinese traditional landscape bridge need to realize the innovation in succession;Ecological and environmental protection thoughts get more and more attention.Therefore,more and more,the design of landscape bridge need landscape architect and bridge designers,even ecology subject experts work together.
