Solar energy gets much attention all over the world, as it is clean, has large storage and causes no pollution. Developing and exploiting the solar power provides an efficacious way to solve the deficiency and pollution of common energy, and it is the ideal alternative energy to human. With the wide use of solar energy, it also has much more need for solar cell surface quality control. The significance and importance of quality control in the solar surface film production has become more and more obvious. At Present, the conventional manual checking means have many drawbacks. Therefore, the research and development of solar cell detection system is more practical.The main work of this article is as follows:(1) The trend of solar cell field is researched. According to the technical indicators of solar battery defect examination system, it raises the project plan of solar cell detection system based on image processing, introduces the structure of the checking system and data processing flow.(2) Using a threshold monitoring area to process the image, which has a very good impact on highlighting the defective area, and effectively enhancing the hierarchy sense of the picture. Because of the influence of irregular surface defect and the surface stripe of batter silicon, I remove the isolated breakpoint noise by median filtering, do corrosion and expansion to the picture. The experimentation outcome indicates that this arithmetic effectively improves the location accuracy and connectivity of the defect area, and improves the testing efficiency consumedly.(3) Process the defect cell digital image, on the one hand, identify the silicon battery cracked defects and calculate the defect area and percentage, implement quantification judgment and crack identification. On the other hand, do damage of unqualified battery judgment on the solar cell photos, realize photos rotation, image save, cell block identification, automatic recognition of battery plate breakage area identification and computing; make the Graphical User Interface of MATLAB, which is simple in operation, and meets the demand of the practice producing manipulation.This paper presents a scheme that makes the recognition of solar battery component defects automatic and precise, which has more application prospect.
