With the rapid development and wide application of the Internet of Things (IoT), Vehicular network as an important branch application of IoT, has attracted more and more attention. Vehicular network is the production of the combination of the ITS (Intelligent Transportation System) and the technology of the Internet of things. the application of Vehicular network technology can not only improve the Intelligent traffic management System, providing a more safer and more reliable driving conditions for the drivers, but also can provide a number of value-added and entertainment service for people in cars, satisfying their demand for entertainment and office business. As the main way of Vehicular network communication system, group communication, will inevitably become the hotspot and focus of our research.Group communication system for Vehicular network, because of its special characteristics of large-scale vehicle nodes, frequent change and update of group members relationship, larger packets loss rate and open communication channel, making secure group communication of Vehicular network face many security threatens:Malicious attackers may forge fake traffic information, eavesdrop and analysis broadcast radio messages in the wireless channel, or tracking vehicles node, etc. This paper focus on Vehicle nodes in the Vehicle network, devoting to some main problems of how to realize secure communication between vehicles groups, and how to establish secure session keys shared between vehicle nodes.There are two main establishment ways of the group session key: group session key distribution protocol and group session key agreement protocol. Group session key distribution protocol distributes the group key by the Group Manager. This protocol algorithm can be constructed simply and managed conveniently. However, the group key is contributed by every group member in the group session key agreement protocol. Any one of the group members cannot determine the session key in advance. This protocol algorithm is relatively complex because of its large amount of interaction information. This paper proposes two protocol of group key distribution and group key agreement respectively according to these two establishment way, our scheme is more suitable for the Vehicular network, the main contributions of our paper are as follows:(1) V2I group session key distributed scheme allows the legal Vehicle nodes can still be able to recover their group session keys after they have lost some previous broadcast messages. The lifetime of our scheme is long-lived, and is not limited to the maximum number of sessions m. Our scheme can reduce network traffic overhead and communication load of the RSU largely. So it is more applicable and suitable for the real vehicular network environment.(2) V2V group session key agreement scheme can detect and re move all the malicious vehicle nodes, allow all the honest node s negotiate and calculate the shared group session key collaborat ively. When nodes frequent join or leave the group, we can dire ctly update the session key rapidly. Our scheme greatly improve s the efficiency of the update of the group session key.Finally, our experiment analysis results show that our scheme has better security attributes and attack resistance ability, and can also achieve good desirable performance.
