Concrete pump trucks with a structure of complicating system and fully-controlled model belong to large-scale engineering machinery. It is a good platform for dynamic system analysis and domination. Constantly, with the development of economics and technologies, the demand of concrete pump trucks is getting more and more by constructing industry, especially the large ones with arm systems. They are known and popular for their efficiency, low wastage and no pollution. The transportation structure and the arm system are mainly working parts.Firstly, the domestic and abroad development of concrete pump trucks is introduced in this paper. Then the construction and composition of concrete pump trucks are shown and the model-building of pump trucks is also illustrated in details, such as the Mathematic software and the relative theories.The2nd Lagrange equation and the conversion of homogeneous coordinates are used to build a dynamic and control model of concrete pump trucks with arm systems. The necessary conditions of the rational design of system structures and the selection of parameters are provided.Aiming at arm systems from one position to another position, the optimal position optimization model with rotation angle as the design variable and with the energy consumption in transferring process as objective function are built in this paper. The Visual Fortran PowerStation software is used to compile optimization calculation program, and the optimal angle of the arm systems is obtained by the simulation in the example.As to the changing problem of the optimal position, the dynamic models are used in this paper and the nonlinear relation of fluid pressure and time is analyzed during the ranking change of arms. A proper solving process with the fluid pressure function is established and calculation of example is completed.Dynamics, optimization theory, program design and simulation calculation analysis are applied in this paper, and the dynamic and control problems of the arm systems of Concrete pump trucks are discussed here and however, it certainly provides the basis for further research.
