| Compressed air is an important power source of the modern industry, it occupies a certain portion of the total energy consumption. The power factory is due to provide the driving power to about a dozen divisions of the Shaanxi automobile group co. ltd, and it is the largest energy consumer of the group. To research on the energy consumption of the compressed air system in the power factory, find effective way to energy conservation can do great help to improve the energy utilization, decrease production cost of the whole company.The energy consumption of the compressed air system in Shaanxi automobile group co. ltd includes the consumption of compressor, air drying system and compressed air network. There are certain differences and relations between the three parts of energy consumption.The characteristics of different type of compressors are analyzed and the advice of compressor selection is introduced. The structure, workflow and principle of screw compressor are discussed in the paper; the influences of the compressor’s capability are also analyzed. By doing so, the proper adjusting methods to improve the capability of the compressor are concluded. Besides, typical faults and processing methods are also discussed.The drying system is decisive to the quality of compressed air. The choosing advice and working principle of the drying system are introduced in this paper, together with the working characteristics of no heat adsorption dryer and setting method of air tank. Energy consumption of the air drying device under different temperatures and humidity are calculated, then Energy saving scheme is proposed after the analysis of existed problems and energy-saving potential in the air drying devices.The network is used to bring the compressed air to the subscribers all around the company. The structure, advantages and disadvantages of the network are analyzed, then the pressure drop and energy degradation are calculated. The calculation results can do great help to the adjustment of the compressed air system.Besides, onsite researches for energy conservation of the compressed air system are conducted in Shaanxi automobile group co. ltd by decreased the air pressure to a certain level. The results shows that the scheme improved previously are effective, reliable, and distinctive, and the research achievements are believable. |
