Ionic liquid dye-sensitized solar cell (Ionic liquid DSSC) is a new type of solar cells whichdevelop gradually in recent years, It consists of a pair of light electrode, dye sensitizer and ionicliquid electrolyte system, During recent years, the Ionic liquid dye-sensitized solar cells haveattracted much attention of researchers because of the high conversion efficiency,the security,stability and simple process of preparation. The most concern for the application of ionic liquidsDSSC is how to further improve the power conversion efficiency and the maximum extractenergy. So the research and test of the ionic liquid DSSC performances have very importantpractical and scientific significance.The one of main works for this paper is to complete a design scheme of ionic liquidDSSC.Based on the structure and working principle of the ionic liquid DSSC,its sensitizer isbipyridine ruthenium complex dye N719, its ionic liquid electrolyte is the3-methoxyacrylonitrile,1,2-dimethyl-3-propylimidazolium iodide,GuSCN,its electrodes are plating Ptconductive glass and TiO2semiconductor,its conductive glass using the etching technology,andfocuses on the ionic liquid electrolyte about it how to affect performance factors of ionic liquidDSSC.The secend of main works for this paper is the performance testing of the ionic liquid DSSC,investigating the changes of the ionic liquid DSSC’s performance under different testconditions.Testing the volt ampere characteristics of ionic liquid DSSC under simulatedsunlight,when am is1.5GM, light intensity is80mW/cm2,the short circuit-current density of theionic liquid DSSC is3.88mA/cm2, The open circuit voltage of the ionic liquid DSSC is0.65V, fillfactor is0.76, power conversion efficiency is6.92%,the esistance is0.36ohm.researching thelight intensity how to affect the ionic liquid DSSC’s performance, the short-circuit current densityand open circuit voltage increase linearly as the increase of light intensity. The fill factor increasefirst and then decrease as the increase of light intensity,its change is nonlinear,it has the maximumvalue when the light intensity between60mW/cm2and80mW/cm2, the power conversionefficiency is increased first and then decreased as the increase of light intensity,its change isnonlinear, it has the maximum value when the light intensity is70mW/cm2,and analysis theirphysical mechanism.
